About ExportSonar

ExportSonar is a free tool for exporters who need a straight answer to one question: what will US customs charge me? Enter an HTS code, pick your origin country, add your shipment value — get the ad valorem rate, any specific-duty component, and an estimated total in USD.

Where the data comes from

Rates are imported directly from the official US Harmonized Tariff Schedule (USHTC) maintained by the US International Trade Commission, refreshed regularly so general rates, special programs and trade-remedy additions stay current.

Why free?

Tariff confusion taxes small exporters disproportionately — brokers and enterprise tools cost more than many shipments are worth. A fast, free, no-signup estimate levels that field. Advanced sourcing analytics are on our roadmap.
